How to use the laboratory
Who can use it, how to request access, and the laboratory usage rules.
Access to the equipment can be on-site or remote. Opening hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Who can use it
Users fall into two categories:
1. Faculty and students of partner institutions They have access to the laboratory’s equipment, services and spaces. To register:
- Send proof of formal affiliation to unesplabri@gmail.com and request the registration form.
2. People without a formal link to the partner institutions They must:
- Obtain the consent of one of the Steering Committee professors or of users;
- Send the consent form to unesplabri@gmail.com and request the registration form.
Training and rules
The laboratory offers regular training on how the equipment works and on the usage rules, delivered by the technical team. The usage rules are clearly and accessibly available on this website.
Costs and counterpart
There is currently no operating-cost sharing — UNESP covers all costs. Instead, a collaboration counterpart is requested: making the data generated available in the laboratory’s databases, whenever there is no legal impediment.
Acknowledgement in publications
Publications resulting from projects supported by the multi-user equipment must acknowledge IPPRI/UNESP and the funding agencies and other public or private bodies that enable the acquisition and full operation of the equipment used.
